Bold Lives: Stories of Impact

History does not flow as an impersonal current. Rather, it is influenced by individual lives. Some individuals stand out because they cut across the grain, made weighty decisions, or developed influential ideas. They may be well-known or relatively unknown. They may be remembered appreciatively or with regret – or both. Bold does not always mean brave, famous, or publicly acclaimed. It describes common people doing something uncommon that makes a significant impact.
