Have a blast learning and discovering hands-on!
Have a blast journeying back in time! Meet some fascinating folks from the past as you take a hike through a 'living timeline.' Do hands-on activities at each station. Our volunteers are ready to explore with you! Be sure to wear comfortable clothes that can get dirty. Children (ages 5-10) must be accompanied by a responsible adult. (Parents, this means you get to join in the fun with your kids!)
Each child receives a

loaded with fantastic
themed materials!
If you participated in one of our backpack workshops in a previous year, join us again! The activities and backpack contents are new each time.
Pre-registration is required. Limit of 24 children. First-come, first-served. There will also be a waiting list, so if you have signed up and cannot make it, please contact us so we can allow other children to participate in your place.
